About The School Board

The citizens of the Menomonie Area can be proud of the results of the formal public education program that exists in our community!  The accomplishments of our students, our staff and our schools is impressive.  The School District of the Menomonie Area is high-performing and offers a wide array of academic, extra-curricular and co-curricular opportunities for our youth. The district also enjoys the support of a caring, supportive community.

Improved student achievement is our constancy of purpose.  We will not be fully satisfied with the achievement levels of our students until we can assure that each and every child reaches the agreed-upon standards.  Our schools are working hard to create a culture that supports student and staff learning.  Indeed, if we are to reach the goals set by “No Child Left Behind,” we must clearly define what it is we expect our children to learn, how we will know when they have learned it, and how we will respond when they are not learning.  We must commit to do whatever it takes to ensure that all students learn at high levels of achievement.

We take great pride in our students, our staff and our community at large.  We have something special taking place here, and we know that it takes everyone to produce the results we achieve.  Together, we will ensure that all children in the Menomonie Area will grow to be lifelong learners, caring individuals and responsible citizens.
