The availability of information at our fingertips not only means access to ideas at a moment’s notice, but it can also be carried in our pockets. Several weeks ago I received a couple of questions from citizens about the new Common Core Standards.  It was surprising because in the past, aside from parents, people have not been all that interested in the curricular frameworks for subject matter. Loving the depths of curriculum and how it is structured has generally been viewed as a “nerdy” aspect of education and typically left to teachers.
